What to do NOW?

Five months ago I decied I wanted to get healthier. I asked myself how and why I wanted to be healthy. I came up with...."well I think I should workout but now really sure how. The reason why is cause I want to do something this year that I haven't done in my life time.
  That's when it all begun. Right after Christmas I went to weight watchers andstarted my life changing diet, that same day I joined the gym. Now I had no excuse to not loose weight and get in shape! Then a few months later I signed up to do the AVON walk for breast cancer. Now I for sure had the motivation to lose weight and get healthy.
   Well now that the AVON walk is all over I have been asked many times what are you going to do?
Here is the answer I am going to go to DISNEYLAND.....NOT just kidding!!! No I am going to keep working out and walking. I have signed up to do next year's AVON walk. That wont be until September 2013. Have I been working out as hard as I was before the walk??? No I have not the last few weeks. Am I going to keep up my intense workout??? Not right now I am enjoying not having to wake up at 5am to got walk 5-9 miles a morning. When am I going to start working out? Well I have never stopped working out.
  Come August I will start my morning walks and some morning workouts at the gym. I am still doing some of my evening workout classes at the gym that I so enjoy! These last few weeks were more or less recoop time. I have been working a few more hours at work which had been fun.
I love my job and the most of the people I work with.
 I am post a picture of myself that I took last week and am hoping  in a few months I look a little different.

Check back in about 8 weeks and see if there is any differance?

AVON walk for breast cancer

I DID IT! 39.3 miles! Well actually I did 34.2 miles but that is close enough if you ask me!!

This was the most AMAZING this I have ever done in my life. IT was also the biggest thing I have ever done. I never thought I would be able to do it but I did! I meet so really cool people while walking. Both walking with me and also at the rest stops.
  Do to tell you how the walk worked! We walked ten miles around San Fransico then after that we went walked across the Golden gate bridge ove into Sausalito then from there we went to Corda Madara. We spent the night in Corda Madra at the Wellness Village in tents. The had tents set up for chiropratic, massage, medical! They had another area set up for eating.
 Sunday Morning we woke up around 6am took down our tents and had breakfast, the at 7am we started walking again. We repeated the route into Sausalito across the bridge and back to Fort Mason were we finished the walk.

???? Question Time???

If you had a day to do nothing what do you thing you would do? And why is that what you would do?

A day of nothing.....

Most of whish we could lay around and do absolutly nothing in a day. Then our minds start to this if I did lay around and do nothing how would or when would these things get done?
  Well this morning I had to go back to the ER due to having trouble breathing again, they didn't do a lot for me they pretty much gave me a treatment and sent me home.
   Well for the first time in months I did absolutly nothing, I came home and feel asleep and slept until 7pm today! Crazy if you as me! Here I am trying to change my like from being one thing that it use to be ASTHMA all the time to a life that would be differen't by getting healthier and stronger.
  Tomorrow I am going to get back into my training and get ready for this walk!
We are only 7 days away!!!!

??? QUESTION TIME???

If there is someone in your life that doesn't know you very well and has maybe only seen you  a handful of times but believes you have a condition that you KNOW you don't have. How would you let this person know.

   *Reason behind my question,,, there is a dr that thinks I have a condition called luringal spazum. I know I don't do to the test that have been done. I also know that I have SEVER ASTHMA.

So this last week I haven't been feel good at all with my asthma. Last night I went to the ER and spent 5+ hrs then came home a t 4am and was up to take children to VBS at 6am. Went to VBS for an hour then left to do earns like go to the back pick up perscriptions and then gas the car. As is that wasn't enough  I had to go and pick the children up from VBS and taking them where they belong. On the way to taking one of them home my asthma struck again so back to the ER I went. I was there for about 6 hours tonight and the sent me home on antibiotics and other stuff.
   Needless to say I am so thankful for the Lords healing powers. Tomorrow I will be back to doing my normal things. VBS in the morning and work in the afternoon and going to try to go work out in the evening.

Summer Time

It has been a while since I have posted anything. I believe the last time I posted I told you about my fundraising and how I was getting ready to start my personal training. Well PT has been going very well as of two weeks ago when I went to weight watchers I had lost a total of 19lbs. In the last two weeks I haven't been doing very much training if any at all.
  This last week I have been working at my church doing VBS. I love doing VBS I have been doing it since I was in 8th grade and it is the highlight of my summer. The week before that was our preschool graduation and I was so busy running around doing many thing in prep for that, that I had no time to workout! This next week is my last week of training and I am not to sure how I am going to do that but I will fit it in somehow....? Then i have a few days that I will be able to do some training and then the BIG DAY will be here July 7th & 8th!!!!
   I am all registered a just receive my wristband an luggage tag in the mail this weekend. So please keep me in your prayers this next week and a half and I try to focus on training in the midst of VBS and work!

March Updated

This last month has been a month! I have been dealing with a foot issue since way back in Sept, but this last month I have been in a walking cast boot thingy! It also has caused problems with my hips and now the doctors are saying I have bursitis in my hips. :(  I haven't been able to do much training.
  As of today I am cast free and I can now continue my training. I did start doing personal training this month! I enjoy it so much and can't wait to see a difference.
  I am hoping to get back to my walking in few days and get up to waling at least 8miles. I should be up to 12-14 miles but had a little set back so here we go! Wish me luck.
    Oh something very exciting, I am doing a fundraiser this next week! I will be doing a Bake Sale at my work on the 4th &5th! I am very close to $900!   Well it is now time to go to bed so I can wake up early and start back at my training!

Amazing Time in Disneyland!

We had an amazing time in Disneyland! I was able to get my camara back on Monday morning! Praise the Lord!! We were all pretty tired monday night but not one of us wanted to go home. Made it home safe and sound.
   On Wednesday I went to the doctors for my foot again and now they ar talking about possible surgery. They are saying that my second and third two bone are to long and they are going tohave to sut them down.
   Went to weight watchers on Saturday and I lost .2lbs So i have been working really hard since saturday and  today I worked out 4xs at the gym two of the times I burned over 200 calories and the other time I burned over 600 cals
Need to go to bed so I can wake up at 5 am and go work out again! Then be at work at 7:15 am going to be a long day! I can do it though

DISNEYLAND

This weekend my family and I have been at Disneyland. We have been having such a fun fabulous time! Lost of memories have been made. We have had a lot of great laughs, Haven't had to stand in long lines. I believe we have only stood in one very long line. Yesterday we spent the day at Disneyland, we went on MANY rides. Today we spend part of the day at (DCA) Disney California Adventure!
  We got a late start this morning everybody else we wiped out after closing the park last night! We went over to Disneyland this evening to watch the paradeand hit up a few rides!
   When we came off our last ride I went to go take a picture of my giant turkey leg....and I couldn't find my camara I was so upset. It is gone at this point!


   Tomorrow morning we are going to go to the lost and found and see if someone turned it in. I post it on facebook hoping and praying the friend all over will pray that it is there. When we came back to our hotel mom crashed!

Today is going to be a great day I hope! Just got home from work! Then I have so much running around to do to finish getting ready for Disneyland. I will be going to weight watcher hoping that I have reached my 10 lbs mark!!! Then I have to take coins to cash then oh so many things I can't even remeber them all! Off to run around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Hard to funtion with a cold

Having a cold just ruins the day! I woke up today and went for a walk down to the chiropator the entire time thinking its Wednesday. Then I went walking for a few more miles still thinking it was Wednesday. 
   So for thoese of you that don't know I have had sever asthma and when I get sick its not like a normal person getting sick. No when I catch a cold I have to beware and watch fo rit not to go into my chest. Most often then not it does go into my chest then I get BAD bronchits and pray that I don't get phenmonia! Well friday night I came down with a cold and it is a head cold.
  Now I have a bad cough and am praying that it doesn't get any worse. On friday morning my family and I are leaving for Disneyland! I would really not like to be sick but I guess I don't have a choice now!
I have the joy of going to work tomorrow at 7am. I guess when you work with children that have runny noses and coughs you are bond to get it! Lord please take this away tonight!

Doing new things!

     This year I have decied to do some new things and I felt like journaling about it.So here it goes! Not only will you hear or see this things I want to do or have already started but you will see what is going on in my life on an almost daily basis.
      The few things that I wanted to do this year that were new were:
1-lose weight adn get healthy meantly and physically!
2-to start looking for my birth mom
3-do a breast cancer walk!
4-get a car!
       At the end of December (december 28 2011) I joined Weight Watchers and the gym. When I joined weight watchers I was weighing 185.4! I need to lose at total of 85 pounds this year but if I don't that is ok I will be happy with what I lose in a year! When I joined the gym it had been at least 8 year or more since I have done workout! Now I use to walk EVERYWHERE before i got my license in sept. But still walking everywhere doesn't mean you are in shape or any healthier because of it.
         Now that is it January 29 I would love to say how I am now weiging at 175.6 I have lost a total of 9.8 lbs! very excited. I love working out at the gym. On Monday night and Wednesday morning I love taking a class called polixing which is so intense and a lot of fun it is  kickbox mixed with pilates.  There are other classes I like taking but when I am not taking a class I do a bike thing (forget what its called) but allyou do is sit and pedal, I also do the eliptical(think that is how it is spelled!), when I am not at the gym I try to do other working out stuff like going on long walks that make me sweat and feel like I have just worked out.
      Just two weeks ago I registared to do the Avon walk for Breast Cancer! That is a 39.3 mile, two day walk. Now I have a reason to do my walks. On friday of last week I did a walk that I think was a least 6miles long! I am going to try to do that same walk and more tomorrow!
      Off to rest now that I have a bad cold and need to try to fight it off so I can be cold free for Disneyland later this week.
